Support resources

* Coping well with cancer
In this section you will find information about coping well with cancer. The coping program you will learn about is called, "Think smart, live well," because the most important part of coping is how we think! How we think determines how we feel, and how we feel determines what we do. When we first started to do research in the psychosocial side of cancer over 20 years ago, we noticed that patients and caregivers were intent on trying to regain that lost sense of personal control. We researched how to return that sense of control — which turned out to be all about coping — and one of the results is this site.
